The monster is so cool and it’s an interesting story

Borrows from a lot of classic horror but in a genuine way that celebrates what made them intense. Very psychological when it came to themes but often misses the mark on delivery. Tons of hidden details that encourages analysis but lacks the substance to make it worthwhile. 3/5

I let out the biggest sigh when I read the plot summary because I already knew exactly what was going to happen and how mediocre the acting was going to be. And I wasn't wrong. Classic netflix trash.
This is like the 60th "horror" with the same story over and over again.

the great cinematography made up for the fact that the plot was lacklustre. not bad at all but not fantastic (★★☆☆☆.5)

Not super into horror but not a bad movie at all
