The Platform 2

I enjoyed the first movie, but I felt more and more confused as I was watching this second one, which I’m assuming is intended to be a prequel? I kept waiting for the film to provide some sort of explanation or big “aha” twist for everything that happened… and just ended up disappointed.

After looking up explanations of the ending on different movie reviews, everyone else just seemed to be equally as confused and frustrated. While some offered their own interpretations, none of those really made sense in terms of everything that occured in the film, especially within the end credits. Yowza.

didn’t make any sense, especially the very very end. every part made me question it more. like the old guy coming back, the black rope dude. and what was the girl to the man from the first movie. i’m lowkey disappointed:(

I really liked the first movie as it was different and intriguing. I was looking forward to this film as soon as I heard it was coming but I’m massively disappointed. It’s so incredibly boring it’s unreal. Every scene felt really dragged out with not much happening. Don’t watch.

I was really excited when I was browsing Netflix for something to watch and came across this movie. I had watched the first one a long time ago so I was excited to see that there was another movie to it. I watched the first one to refresh my memory and enjoyed it. This one however didn’t make any sense to me. It felt really ove the top and the ending made zero sense. I definitely still prefer the first one over this one.
