8.7 - Incredibly underrated. Chilling is the best word for this. Should be considered close to the tier of The Exorcist. Deaths are well done, acting is phenomenal, & style is very classic 70s. It toes the psych/religious line perfectly without fully crossing into supernatural.

I will say that its a great adaptation especially for its time but i cant help but feel bored in the middle everytime i watch it.

It was hard for me to love older movies. Not anymore. This movie is brilliant. The simplicity, great camera, the never ending creepy feeling without any jump scares or gore scenes. Loved it. I give it 5/5 🎃
