It's like an introductory movie for the character of the Joker, I recommend watching it and then watching the Joker 7,8/10

This used to be a like for me, now it’s a love. 2 of the greatest performances ever from Phoenix and Hoffman. Upon review you have to ask yourself “What happened?” And it may lead you to ask “Why am I still thinking about it?” That’s what it was for me. This has stayed in my head

A spectacular performance from everyone involved, The Master is incredibly intriguing. But the film doesn’t necessarily say anything outright. It’s just an excellent look at the power balance between a cult leader and a drifter. Compelling, but not moving.
