an enjoyable and charming wes anderson film that brilliantly uses its maritime aesthetic to tell a disjointed yet hilarious story in a vivid setting. the script and soundtrack are both phenomenal and the stellar cast delivers a variety of great performances

Ending was pretty good the rest was like just okay

Wes Anderson, man. Genuinely one of the most unique and talented directors of all time.
I'll never get tired of his style and his favourite actors/cast, I could watch them all day.

This felt different to other Wes Anderson movies I’ve seen, and it wasn’t really as funny as the others. It follows the same pattern I’ve noticed in that it starts very slow but the end is amazing. I loved seeing Bill Murray in the lead role and visually it was really interesting and well done. Overall not the best Wes Anderson movie but still pretty damn good. A solid 7.5/10
