This movie was badass.

AMAZING SET UP FOR A SEQUEL OMG

6.2 - decent but could have been great. Awesome set up, cool moments, well-designed & effective sets, & cool creature design. Terrible pace, uneven writing. Felt reminiscent of old school monster movies but with something significant missing.

Acting and writing is great, but its slow paced and it kinda feels like somethings missing

i think to fully enjoy this movie you have to have some understanding of dracula because having read the book made this movie better. saying that, the suspense of the movie was great, dracula’s form and makeup was crafted beautifully - creepy and monstrous. clemens was a great central character and the acting was stellar. the death of the boy was so sad and terribly cruel. the slow turning of all the crew, the burnings and feedings,,, amazing. i enjoyed it and i enjoyed that they had the voiceover of clemens logs in his journals

it's fine. a few welcome faces in the cast bur won't wow you.
