This movie was badass.

AMAZING SET UP FOR A SEQUEL OMG

6.2 - decent but could have been great. Awesome set up, cool moments, well-designed & effective sets, & cool creature design. Terrible pace, uneven writing. Felt reminiscent of old school monster movies but with something significant missing.

Consistently creepy yet rarely terrifying, this flat spinoff doesn’t make any meaningful additions to the mythology of the source material. There’s a brief novelty to the bloody spectacle but this supposed final voyage feels considerably thin by its end.

Overall enjoyable, and I loved the depiction of Dracula. At times the acting and atmosphere of the movie felt odd, but didn’t detract from the viewing experience overall.
