The Great Wall

i was going in blind, but this was pretty interesting movie. if not for Pedro i wouldn’t have chosen to watch this, but i’m glad i did

I wasn't expecting to dislike this but there's so much I find distasteful about this. I love fantasy so one on 'the Great Wall of China' got me excited. I don't understand the pacing or plot but it was almost done in favour of the below-mediocre casting, and I like Pascal, Damon, and Dafoe, just not here. Visually, it's stunning but far too saturated. I don't think the scale was well thought out either because most of it made no sense. I'd let off minor discrepancies, this has more than the length of the wall itself. I couldn't finish it, at least it's got cool monsters.

It was fun, definitely some how tf moments but its a movie about monsters attacking the great wall I don’t think realism was in mind
