The Fly

this movie is one of the only movies that genuinely weirded me so out that I had to look away. for that reason I love it.

i was not expecting to love this movie as much as i did. 😳

In all honestly even past all the description, I never expected this film to be as Morbid as it turned out. The Prosthetics used for this film are extremely lifelike and impressive beyond compare. Jeff Goldblum puts on a Fascinating performance even under all that makeup. Cronenberg truly knocked the ball out of the park with this film. No wonder it receives such high praise

I don’t even like sci-fi movies but this was an 8/10. For something made in the 80s, the special effects were super impressive. I didn’t expect it to start off kind of slow and then get so wild, like wth just happened. Definitely a must-watch, some scenes can be disturbing tho.

soo good, it was beyond it’s time. probably one of my all time “horror” sci-fi movies
