The Departed

One of my favorite movies ever. Rewatched it for the millionth time. What a cast!
This is part of the monster canon along with Scarface, Godfather and Casino.

9.2/10. One of if not my favorite Martin Scorsese movie. Whatever you think is going to happen in this movie, you’re probably wrong. The plot is unpredictable and the characters are all great. Highly recommend watching if you haven’t seen it already.

9.9/10 a top movie. Many have tried to go the undercover cop route in movies but for some reason this does it the best. Is it the star studded cast, the story, directing, twists, time of release? We will never truly know but this movie is the one.

Why isn’t this movie more popular than goodfellas? 9.5/10

The writer GOATED this one. This movie was so intriguing and complex that I felt absorbed by it.
God the acting is amazing, I just can't get enough of how much I enjoyed it. The only thing is how visual some of the deaths are, but I don't really mind. Prob one od my faves.

Rewatched. 10/10 still win of the greatest of all time.
