The Deliverance

What in the Tyler Perry? To start a movie with cringy 'sexual' shots and borderline offensive 'jokes' is brave. The script falls and keeps falling so I switched it off 20 or so minutes in. Glenn Close going full white girl yardie is something I'd never have thought to have seen. I understand it's 'acting' but anyone else would have worked better. Netflix originals really are a different breed of original and I'm getting tired of it like how "I'm tired of being broke". Netflix, stick to making parodies, you're so great at it.

6/10…would’ve got 10s across the board if they tossed Dre off the bridge at the end. He was an attention seeking loser that damn near got the whole family killed because he wanted an friend so bad he started fiddling with holes in the ground 🙄 Mo’Nique served per usual tho

This movie gave me literal goosebumps! It’s insane. My eyes were glued to the screen the whole time. Definitely keeps your interest from start to finish.

got goofy towards the end

Very very slow. Mostly family drama and doesn’t start actually getting “scary” until the last quarter of the movie. Honestly found the family drama more entertaining than the horror aspects.
