Each of the 9 shorts created by different acclaimed anime directors, including Shinichirō Watanabe, Mahiro Maeda, and Yoshiaki Kawajiri. They explore the worlds and themes set by the original matrix. It's beautiful and depressing.

I think it is a must watch for those who like interesting animation and would like to expand on “Matrix” universe. There are different stories, some of them really shook me. I totally recommend, but it’s definitely not for everyone.
