I already knew the basic story and that ended up being the whole movie. Just a bunch of Southern ladies talking drama and doing hair

Seeing Dolly Parton on screen for the first time was such a joy. You see these women’s lives through the cycles of life, including death and birth. It’s not anything profound, but it’s a feel good and nostalgic movie. Might even make you cry.

As man I’ll never fully understand and appreciate the message of being a strong woman but still I can appreciate the fact that is portrayed real life struggle so well. And I reminds me of my mom and aunts
