Painfully boring movie. I cannot adequately describe in 150 characters or less how truly boring this was. Like watching old, British paint dry.

I can't imagine what she went through, devastating. Perfect and heartfelt cinematography, portraying every emotion in every frame.
Incredible poster as well, I remember adding it to my watchlist because of that.

Review: Spencer (2021) - 6.9/10
Hey friends! I just watched the 2021 historical psychological drama film, Spencer, and I'm excited to share my thoughts!
Kristen Stewart shines as Diana, capturing the complexity and vulnerability of the beloved princess. Her performance is nuanced and multifaceted, conveying the weight of Diana's responsibilities and the suffocation of her royal life.
The supporting cast delivers strong performances, particularly Jack Farthing as Prince Charles, who brings a sense of detachment and coldness to the role. Timothy Spall, Sean Harris, and Sally Hawkins also add depth to the film.
Larraín's direction is masterful, using long takes and atmospheric lighting to create a sense of claustrophobia and unease. The film's cinematography is stunning, capturing the opulence and grandeur of the royal estate.
While Spencer is a compelling and thought-provoking film, it falls short of being a truly great one. The pacing is sometimes uneven, and the narrative feels slightly fragmented.
Overall, I'd recommend Spencer to fans of historical dramas and those interested in Princess Diana's story. Kristen Stewart's performance is unforgettable, and Larraín's direction is captivating.
