Listen folks, this is why you cannot become people pleaser. This slowburn was unnerving, unsettling and disturbing. I knew where the direction of story was heading and I still can enjoy my popcorn.

A bit slow, but it builds the tension and unease well. James McAvoy was especially good, uncanny and creepy throughout the film.

Edit: I have now seen the original Danish version, still not sure why they remade it. Endings are completely different—the 2022 film is visceral

James McAvoy very underrated actor👏🏾 especially in roles like this.

Alright all jokes aside, I don't think I've ever hated a character more than Ben in this film. It's quite impressive how useless he is throughout the entirety of the story. I would say what I really think about him but I don't want to be suspended on here. And James Mcavoy? Wow 👍
