I knew absolutely nothing going into this movie but thought it was really well done. The acting throughout was full of heavy hitters and they all did a fantastic job, with De Niro standing out as Father Bobby. The story was extremely interesting and kept me on the edge of my seat throughout. One interesting thing is that this film uses a lot of 90s films tropes, which makes it feel a little too similar to other movies (GoodFellas, Shawshank, etc) but overall a fantastic movie, a solid 8.5/10

a very sad and traumatic movie that i finally got around to watching. the fact that i know this happens in real life is so upsetting and scary
