A treat from Hitchcock so horrifically enjoyable that you sometimes forgot how horrifically tragic the main plot is.  Every last character oozes with personality, much thanks to the film's great writing and consistently perfect casting.

Ridiculously good. Direction is flawless, script/story is enthralling and the performances are phenomenal. It’s shot excellently and each frame is just gorgeous. Paced expertly and demonstrates some of Hitchcock’s earlier bangers. One of the best thrillers ever made

Every small detail carries weight to the very end. It’s a great relationship study of a unique scenario. Shows that there can be darkness even in the smallest and most innocent suburbias.
