This 1980s horror film attempts a Shakespearean style but suffers from odd, unnatural dialogue due to its modern setting. There’s also an excess of unnecessary imagery & amateurish camerawork. Most of the characters are over-the-top, with the only believable one being the neglected little boy. It seems many people enjoy this film more for its obscurity than its actual quality.
