Porco Rosso

I really didn’t like this movie. Ofc it’s ghibli so it has great animating but even if it’s because of the year it’s based on/made on. It was very sexist and clear to see on that. Porco rosso is a playboy. It’s understandable why he got cursed to be a pig. As he acts like one

music SLAY movie reminds me of my dad

Undeniably sexist, but knowing Miyazaki’s other works I choose to view that he’s commenting on the stupidity of that concept along with some more adult themes

Les dessins sont touchants, chaque scène vous fait voyager entre ciel et mer.
La musique est parfaite.
Ce film fait rêver, et c’est ce qu’on chercher quand on lance un Ghibli.
(Le sexisme crève les yeux et c’est dommage, mais ça reste un beau film)

This Hayao Miyazaki classic deserves a lot more appreciation. It’s my 3rd favourite of his.

I have SO many questions after watching it, but I literally loved every seconds of it. Nice story and cinematoghrapy also, imo of the the bests Ghibli studio film.
Overall: 10/9
