Pokémon Detective Pikachu

Even without being very knowledgeable on this franchise and just knowing the basics POKÉMON Detective Pikachu is a fun time with great visuals, a solid cast, and nice world-building. The character designs were true to the original from what I know and I think it worked well.

Wasn’t really impressed. Maybe this movie was for the die hard fans but I just thought it was mediocre

there’s that just feels wrong about ryan reynolds being justice smith’s dad

I thought this was one of the better live action adaptations of video games ever. that being said, it's still just a decent movie on its own. The best moments are the Pokémon themselves. it's a kids' movie at its core, which is good for the family. 7/10
