i actually rlly liked this movie it’s v slow but it’s more about the characters than any sort of storyline
it takes stereotypes of characters and molds them into something twisted
they also do a nice job of portraying obsession
cool cinematography, also daniel day lewis

at this point, everything pta does is masterful, but this film has such a powerful sense of grace and control, it’s truly special. the script is tense yet full of humor, as is much of the film. the cinematography is both sporadic and serene. daniel day-lewis excels as always
