Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief

Amazing as a stand alone film, if they didn’t say it was related to the book, I would have absolutely loved it. However, if we’re basing it off the book it’s nothing like the book at all.

As a movie on its own, it is good, this can be very enjoyable and Poker Face in the movie turned it even better. But remembering that it is meant to be based on the PJO saga it is disappointing seeing some 20 yo being some 12 yo kids and not being too loyal to the books

I don’t know how I managed to see the whole movie. Why does everything suck and doesn’t make a sense. Greek Gods on the top of the Empire State Building, a pen that turns into a sword and … modern Hades? Every 15’ an absolute bs scene would take a place for the next 15’. 🇺🇸

Wish it was better. Anyone who has read the books will not like this movie other than for nostalgic purposes.🙃
