This is one of the best adaptations I’ve ever seen. The approach is perfect and the casting is phenomenal. Ruth Negga is very talented.

The acting was amazing. Visually it was exactly as I had pictured most of the scenes when reading the book. As always, my issue is as closely as they stuck to the book. I don’t understand why they did some scenes out of order or changed completely, and it did seem to move a lot slower than the book.
