Overlord

8/10. Not usually a fan of war movies, but the film had me hooked from the opening scene. The scene where the main character discovered the ‘experiments’ was fantastic, loved the effects and the effed up designs of what had happened to these people

Actually a pretty good sci-fi horror movie!! Very interesting and scares

This is one of those movies that did not get the attention it deserved. It plays with Nazi experiments gone wrong, mixed in with the occult and super soldier (Wyatt Russell foreshadowing his US Agent role) ideas. It has all the fun & gruesome that Frankenstein’s Army has, but with a bit more polish. Just a fun little WWII set horror flick. It is a favorite.

The WW2 and zombie genres was not a combination I was expecting to enjoy as much as I did here. It was a bit ridiculous at points, but most of the horror was very subtle and effective.
