Lots of sex scenes which I wasn’t really expecting. They don’t show much but still. Much more of a drama then a horror

while starting off slow, onibaba’s narrative at first full of repugnant characters twists into one full of ominous dread, visceral kills, and beautiful aesthetic. the perfect cinematography is aided by great writing and performances; as symbolic as it is harrowing
