Once Upon a Time in America

I finally plucked up the courage and watched Once Upon a Time in America. The soundtracks are great and the movie is about the grand illusion of the American Dream. I could sum this movie up as a mix between The Untouchables and The Godfather.

Beautiful story it’s a long slow burn but damn does the story pull you in and shows how the life of a criminal isn’t all that

The kind of gangster movies I prefer are more entertaining with memorable characters, such as Goodfellas. However, my thoughts on this would be the same as The Godfather: it's a masterpiece in every aspect. The only problem I have is I totally get that they're gangsters. obviously they're bad, but here they're just straight scum from start to finish, so I could never see myself sitting through it again.

Probably not gonna watch this. I don’t have the attention span
