This anime rips! if you're at all a fan of action / ninja / fantasy / hyper sexual retro animes this will be right up you're alley. You can definitely see where shows like Naruto (original & Shippuden), Jujutsu Kaisen, one piece, and more get their inspiration after watching this. It's cool seeing the obvious inspiration some of the animators, directors, and writers that worked on shows that I grew up on like Naruto took from Ninja Scroll. Also this movie just rips. Definitely would recommend to an anime fan.

While the animation isn’t quite as stunning as some other anime, the story was way better. It has some really good action, interesting villains, and some pretty bloody kills. Definitely a good watch for a anime novice like myself.
