The Samoan culture and music was amazing. But they literally built 2 characters throughout the whole movie. They needed to put less time In Jaya and more time into the whole team.

My second watch and this film was even better. It’s a film about grief and getting a second chance. Michael Fassbender is fantastic and its well directed. Super underrated movie.

Hilarious, loved every minute!

Good but could’ve been great. Taika was intent on making the protagonist significantly less open minded than his real life counter part, and the representation and movie as a whole suffers for it. Honestly would’ve been better if he wasn’t trying to avoid accuracy.
