I just couldn’t get invested in it. I’ve have never been as disconnected from a main character as I was from Mai. For most of the movie she felt one dimensional, and they waited too long to create an emotional connection. The whole thing was rushed and badly done.

Thought I just liked it because I was younger when I watched it. Watched it again and was captivated throughout. The sort of film I would by a disc to. Nothing special. Forgettable for sure but not bad not horrid. Okay. Wouldn’t recommend but would watch again.
