Mortal Kombat

Call me sadistic, but this is the type of gore I live for. Make sure you watch with your youngest children to ensure expedited maturation.

While far from perfect, Mortal Kombat is still bloody fun, with a solid attempt at adapting the game's insane world. A flawless victory but it’s also not a fatality.

The first and final fight sequences were insane but the acting wasn’t great. I wish the main character was Scorpion and not the random. Also annoyed that I bought a $60 game after watching this the first time lol

Very campy and self-aware, with plenty of Easter eggs. Edgy in just the right amounts. Solid acting, with enough gore to satisfy fans of the series. Some questionable decisions, like adding a new character for the lead role, but does not hinder the fun of the film. Pretty good!

Probably the best on screen adaptatin

There’s a lot of stuff I love about this movie and there’s also a lot I hate. For starters, why couldn’t Scorpion be the main character? I would’ve much preferred him over some guy they made up just for the movie, plus his suits awful. Other than that, movie was gorey dumb fun.
