Wanda Sykes is the actual star of this movie, and you can’t convince me otherwise (although an argument could be made for gay roommate Adam Scott).

There fighting was hilarious. The best part was definitely Ruby (Wanda Sykes) she carried this movie. The mom was just butting in too much and needed to be knocked down a step. Although her antics kept me entertained. At least they made up at the end and the mom was nicer.

This could’ve easily been a funny movie given the concept had it been executed properly. It’s just another typical outdated mid comedy from the 2000s

Liked the ending

The premise of this is what makes this movie stand apart from other rom coms, and I’m sure people who can relate to this situation love this movie, but in terms of movies it’s nothing different but it’s still a fun watch. Jlo & Jane Fonda were both good, and pretty funny.
