such a sad movie! im happy that mary survived but i wished max had lived a bit longer to meet her. It's so jarring to see how autism was treated back then and the same for obesity. I wish Max had another bit of happiness to escape the cruel judgement me faces everyday

Wow, I didn't think it was actually going to be kinda dark but also sweet. The writing is excellent as I grew to care about our 2 main characters through the good and bad. The ending got me choked up couldn't fight it.
