Over the course of this 85-minute race down the M6, the journey turns out to be far more interesting than the destination: we’re hearing about the construction of a building, but we might be watching the demolition of a life.

7.3 - not sure this works with many actors outside of Tom Hardy who puts on an absolute masterclass. Pulling off something this engaging & anxious in 85 minutes, with one cramped location, & essentially one actor is impressive. I still don’t know anything about concrete though.

A very sad story, amazing performance of Tom Hardy and a different approach of filmmaking. Following a downward spiral and seeing where it leads was well written. The more I think about the movie, the better it gets.

One of the best movies i have ever seen. I can't understand how basically one single person can captivate the audience for the whole duration of yhe movie

There’s a great performance from Tom Hardy but that’s it. Director Steven Knight allows the isolated location to fall flat, which is the biggest mistake of many chamber-room films. The writing is a bit one-note too and, again, Hardy elevates this movie to being okay.
