7.3 - It’s not as funny or even as easy to follow as Holy Grail but it’s still absurd, slapsticky, & quotable. Sets are very well done & the premise is genius even if it didn’t cross over with biblical storylines as often as I expected or hoped.

Definitely a product of its time, but “Biggus Dickus” has become a natural part of my vocabulary 😂

I think you had to be there but I respect how many other pieces this has inspired and its influence in British humour.

It’s definitely not as good as the holy grail but it’s not a bad movie it’s got its fair share of funny jokes but my expectations after watching holy grail made them pretty high 8.4/10 doesn’t live up to

Not as good as Holy Grail but still very solid. It kind of starts off slow tbh but definitely picks up in the second half. Some stand out scenes are Biggus Dickus, the Stoning, The Hermit and his Junioer Bushes, and the very last scene.
