There is a lot of hype around this film but I found it slow, drawn out and without any horror.

Prolly the best found footage/mockumentary horror film I’ve ever seen

Despite the mockumentary format it nails the unsettling vibe throughout. Not sure it is "the scariest movie ever" as some around the internet have claimed.

This would be excellent as a TV episode, not a full feature-length film. I do like some of these documentary-style movies, but you have to be in the mood, and I wasn't, at least for this particular one. I knew I wasn't but watched it anyway to finish up "Shudder's 101 Scariest Movie Moments" list.
