Kong: Skull Island

There's so much good about this, as well as bad. I loved the visuals of absolutely everything. I can never understand how these movies are real. The sound and violence pierces right through you. The cinematography and editing was beautiful, stunning shot after shot. My problem is with the casting and character work. The amount of times I got annoyed at genericness and point blank clichés is ridiculous. I wish we had more of a Kong point of view, rather than 9 different storylines that make less sense than kong. The score was annoying, too. It could have been epic, but it just felt meh.

I liked mostly everything about this movie. I like the set up of the WW2 Vetrans having to put there Differences aside to survive on this island full of monsters. I like the Plot of King Kong being more of a hero then an monster Ape destroying New York. And this movie is a 9/10

I didn't know i needed both John C Riley and Tom Hiddleston using a samurai sword against winged beasts.

Kong: Skull Island is a good fun monster movie with an awesome cast that share good chemistry. It's a simple movie and I liked how it's not a remake of the original story.
