This movie completely changed my outlook on life. I cannot recommend this movie more and I would watch it everyday if I had the time. This movie is all about being gay and having different ideas to try and circumnavigate your true feelings, doing hard drugs, and true stories. Mhm

I cannot put into words how much I love this movie. And to think it’s based on real events…

Context: The Beat generation -a literary movement in the 50s began with a group of colombian poets including Jack Kerouac, Alan Ginsberg, & William Burrows, who challenged political norms, and sexuality in their writing. The film explores those themes through Lucier Carr's story.
