Man I really thought I was gonna love this movie based on the beginning but I just expected so much more, Gyllenhaal was still great tho and I enjoyed the movie

Not your average action packed gun blasting war movie. It was mental. You felt the pain and disappointment they felt. Amazing acting 10/10 on all part. Amazing movie. Definitely a top 5

I liked this film. I liked how it focused more on the mentality of a marine, but I really wanted to see more action. The acting was just perfect from Jake Gyllenhaal and it’s prob my fav role he’s played.

Honestly I thought the end was a teeny tiny bit anti climactic because I thought he’d get to fire his rifle but I assume it’s intended to make you feel that way. I thought it was pretty interesting and the cinematography is cool.

probably one of the best if not best jake gyllenhaal movies in my opinion

Do not expect action, slow but good
