The novel was wayyyy better. They took a lot of the dialogue out and some of the most romantic/monumental lines. Felt rushed and the chemistry wasn’t as intensely felt as the book.

It missed out certain things from the book so i think i did prefer the book but the acting was amazing and it was mostly quite similar to the way I pictured it ♥️

Currently reading the book and was having a hard time visualizing so I looked up if there was a movie and stumbled upon this GEM. I love period pieces so much and I especially appreciated the sprinkled in horror. This will be my Pride and Prejudice.

kinda boring in some places bc it's not my fav genre tbh but it's actually quite good. it's confusing if u don't know the storyline tho
