Jackpot!

this was FUNNNYYYY. awkwafina is top tier. had me cracking up so much my cheeks hurt. entertaining plot, good action/cast/pacing, satisfying end. 7.5/10

bloopers had me weak, we must bring that back.

Paul Feig still has his original, unoriginal twist on comedy. Way more action this time round and I loved it. It took me a few tries to watch the whole thing and it's definitely not the fault of the casting, more so predictability. Akwafina is over-hated and John Cena is under-rated when it comes to comedy. Simu Liu seems so genuine with his acting and the rest of the cameos are so unexpected it almost takes you out. Britney Spears ex? Mgk? Bobby Lee? Seann Scott? Overall, it just felt a little too manufactured, if that's the right word. Great take on a capitalist dystopian present/future though.

I enjoyed the movie. it's like the anarchy movies but for lotto!

on a side note... with no relevance to the movie itself but to the ending bloopers I do think timothee chalamet was in the fursuit. pretty sure 99% but 1% doubt; that was some dune level paul atreides aggression.

Great comedy and great portrayal of friendship.
I didn't get how she was so good at fighting before she'd even met him but tbh idc, I loved the humour and the general concept.
