5.5 - it’s fun to see a demonic horror not based in Christianity, but this doesn’t do anything new. It’s a slightly better version of The Boogeyman from earlier this year, just trading trauma for religion. Horror elements are done decently, but not much memorable. Watch it once.

Shot well and acted decently by an unknown cast, this atmospheric demonic horror film that fits alongside The Boogeyman was better than expected. It was certainly missing something to it, and could’ve benefitted from a higher rating to add in body horror and gore, but solid.

imo the plot had a good potential but 🤷🏻‍♂️

This movie is really great. The actors were awesome and you could really feel and see the fear they expressed. I really hope we get a sequel, as long as they take the time they did with this one. The little details you notice are just phenomenal.
