Invasion of the Body Snatchers

Rarely does a film capture the feeling of paranoia and worldwide conspiracy as well as this does. I love the way this remake expands on the ideas presented in the original film. An engaging watch and one of Donald Sutherland’s best performances. This is some quality eco-horror.

The cinematography is incredible. Seriously some of the frames are break-taking and the camera work is fantastic. The first two thirds are captivating unfortunately the last thirty minutes feel rushed and less focused. Donald Sutherland and Veronica Cartwright are perfect.

This movie was so good. It autoplayed randomly after a completely unrelated movie, but holy crap am I glad it did
