the show > the movie but this was surprisingly better than i anticipated. tom cruise & kirsten dunst devoured. brad pitt nibbled a bit but mostly he just served face - it felt like he didn’t wanna lean into the homoeroticism too too much 😔

also the costumes…*chef’s kiss* !!!

7.5/10 HATED the ending with a passion, talk about bury your gays. If Lestat and Louis lived happily ever after I would give a higher rating. It just pissed me off so much why can’t we be happy!!!!! I think the series is doing a much better job at portraying their dynamic.

Good movie to watch with your girlfriend while she explains to you why the concept of vampires is about homosexuality, from Bram Stoker to Anne Rice.

Even though I don’t really care for vampire movies, this was really well done. I thought all the cast did well and Kirsten Dunst was RUTHLESS. Not a film that I will probably rewatch for a while though.
