jump scares are awful and the demon looks like darth maul on crack

Pretty solid horror film. Normally, jump scares in movies are cheesy and they never get me, but there were some really good ones here. And the ending… what a cliffhanger! Now I feel like I have to watch the second one.

Insidious explores a chilling storyline where a child in a coma becomes a vessel for a demon. The monsters may not feel terrifying by today’s standards, but they’re effective for the era. Not mad that i watched it, but i wouldn’t recommend it. 6/10

Good take on astral projection and how the astral plane works. Kinda mysterious and thrilling
