3.3 - One of my favorite books in middle school, one of the most disappointing adaptations I’ve seen. So much magic and suspense lost. Mediocre acting. Bad effects, both practical and digital. Poor pacing. Someone give this another shot in 5 years or so.

Anyone else been thinking they'd dreamt the whole thing as a kid until one day it just randomly spawned on their feed years later?

It may not be the most breathlessly exciting film out there, but for the young audience for which it's intended, Inkheart is an intelligent, charming and well-rounded old-school adventure.
