Inherent Vice

Ethereal and grounded simultaneously, (don’t pay too much attention to the mystery and it works better) and Doc Sportello is an all-time PTA protagonist

If it wouldn’t have Joaquin it’d be a meh. Apart from that, the best word to describe this is tripping✌️

Good movie, but Doc Sportello is no Hunter S. Thompson.

Worse than I would’ve expected from the great director Paul Thomas Anderson and the similarly amazing Joaquin Phoenix, who, to be fair, did well. Although, even with such credentials, the writing for Inherent Vice is terrible and the cinematography happens to be even worse 😔
