Immaculate

Based on the trailer alone, I thought this movie was going to be a cliche religious horror movie involving a supernatural pregnancy but the reveal of what is actually going on surprised me a lot. Also, Sydney Sweeney’s performance genuinely impressed me, especially at the end

Felt like a whole lot of build up for no climax… like 2 kind of jump scares but mostly just kind of vaguely unsettling and they didn’t even show the baby at the end??? And the weird red nuns? What was up with the opening scene just never going to bring that up?

Sydney Sweeney puts on an Immaculate performance... No, but seriously she was really good! The film is swift, well acted, creepy, and thought provoking. It's not going to be the best movie I've seen all year, but for my money this was a pretty good horror flick. 7/10

4/10 Don’t know what else to say, else than that it didn’t do much for me… And a lot of weird continuity mistakes and things that was just never heard about again. But it wasn’t terrible and it did have some nice frames from time to time.
