Hypnotic

this was insane. i loved the plot so much. never seen anything like it tbh. MC actress was great. i didn’t think it was predictable at all like a lot of u say ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ can’t quite remember the ending but know it was satisfactory. 7/10

Saw other reviews and had high hopes since a lot of other people seemed to enjoy it but I definitely fell asleep once and had to go back. Not a fan of the acting but the concept of the movie it good it just lacks on execution. Very predictable as well. Too slow in some areas too.

Dr. Mead was well cast, the actor did a good job of being creepy and unnerving. Some typical horror/thriller tropes like going to your tormentors mentors home alone. Even if Sullivan was alive he probably wouldn’t turn on his apprentice. The father/son angle was obvious though. Also everything could’ve been avoided if people didn’t answer unknown callers. 6.5/10
