Great film. It’s pretty dark. You will get sad lol. But it’s very good.

Also appreciate a villain who is a villain. No greater good or empathy here. Pure hate. It works well.

This felt like two movies. Rockets scenes were the strongest part of this, and moved me to tears. But the film jumps around a lot, and feels like it doesn’t know what it wants to be. Good for a marvel movie, but the potential this had was missed greatly.

Absolutely beautiful movie, they couldn’t have chosen a better direction to take it. Rocket’s story was so tragic and fitting and the emotional moments hit hard. James Gunn really came through when Marvel was struggling. The soundtrack is as flawless as Quill’s music taste.

Easily the best trilogy in the MCU, all three have a theme with a great story, have amazing soundtracks, great performances. The humor doesn't always hit, but these are James Gunn's films through and through. His complete untouched vision.
