Gonjiam: Haunted Asylum

i REALLY liked the setup & all the ladies, having it be a high budget youtube video as the premise was really cool but it took forever to get to the actual scares & when it got there, i was really disappointed :( was more corny than scary, but i still enjoyed, coulda been better

About as perfect as found footage horror can get. Builds suspense to an unbearable level, creeps you out at every turn, and lingers with you afterwards. This is a work of bloody art! The possessed chanting is a noise that messes with your head. Absolutely horrific.

This is one of the only scary movies I’ve seen that has made me pause before going to sleep. This movie is absolutely worth a watch, not a whole lot of jump scares, but I was still scared the whole time. But the “csybvkgcnjx” whispering did make me giggle lol

A solid found footage that is similar to the set up of Grave Encounters. It didnt really get going until the last 25 mins or so but it did get very creepy. Really enjoyed it.

Was not going to give this movie a good rating but those last 20 minutes. Whoo boy! Not prepared for that
